So what have we been up to, here in Koh Lipe? Well, life is pretty simple, and super relax. Eat, sleep, beach. Enjoy. Dive. Snorkel. Eat some more... Drink a coconut, eat a banana pancake. Walk around in Walking Street. Go for a swim. Start again.
I wrote in my previous post that it had become much busier here, but it has changed a lot after the weekend. It's much quieter now, very enjoyable really. We've also been told that Koh Lipe is not full for the Christmas period at all. For some of the people who have invested in accommodation and so on this might be unpleasant, but for us that's good news. And in fact, probably it's good news for Koh Lipe as it is, because if the tourism becomes too much here, it will kill the island. It would be overpopulated - because it is a small island - and become an ecological nightmare. To be a long term success, it will be good if the number of tourist does not continue to grow...

Anyway, we're enjoying our time here tremendously and look forward to spend even more time in paradise! And tomorrow Veckie arrives, then it will be some more diving and good fun!
