Kantang city

So we had our evening in Kantang "city" yesterday, which was worth it - although nothing special really. It's a relatively quiet provincial town, enough life to make it interesting yet not too busy. A few pictures to illustrate Kantang...
A short stroll towards the old train station, I liked this view in one of the streets on our way
Kantang has its own train station with a daily connection to Bangkok (which is also the one and only train each day), pretty impressive for a town this size! The journey takes about 17 hours...
The station opened on 1913 and has been well preserved; it's probably Kantang's number 1 tourist attraction...
The ferry across the river - which we will take the next morning
The market was already closed, so this was the after-market then?
But no worries, of course there is always a night market, it's Thailand!
I just liked this image 😊
